About Rhetorico

A different way to write with AI

Rhetorico works differently from ChatGPT and similar tools. Instead of chatting with AI, you fill out a structured form and get a finished piece. No agonizing over prompts, no copy-pasting fragments, no back-and-forth clarifications, no “try again.”

I built this tool because something obvious kept coming up: when you need a cover letter, you want a cover letter. Not a conversation about cover letters. Just a well-written, ready-to-use piece tailored to the job.

How it works

Pick what you want to write – or describe it to Rico. You’ll get a form with questions matched to the type of content. The form guides you along: if you’re not sure how to define a cold email’s target audience, AI will suggest options. Writing a therapeutic bedtime story? It’ll help with the moral. Creating a training plan? It’ll ask about equipment and fitness level.

It only steps in where it makes sense. Every kind of content needs different inputs. A product description isn’t the same as a math lesson plan – that’s obvious.

Once you submit the form, you get your content. If something needs a tweak, you can fix just that one awkward sentence – no need to regenerate the whole thing.

Why I built it

Back in 2021 I was testing GPT-3 with random prompts. The results were terrible at first, but it quickly became clear why – AI needs strong instructions and full context to produce good writing. That’s still true.

Not everyone wants to learn that craft. When you need a job description, you don’t want to debate job descriptions. You want a finished one.

That’s when I came up with predefined prompts tailored to specific topics. I wrote them myself at first, but now AI can create them just as well—across pretty much any topic.

Who uses it

  • HR teams writing job ads
  • Marketers and copywriters
  • E-commerce store managers
  • Marketplace/classifieds sellers
  • Real estate agencies writing listings
  • Teachers preparing lessons and homework
  • Students creating study materials
  • Freelancers submitting proposals
  • Parents writing bedtime stories

What’s next

I’m currently working on:

  • Image analysis – a product photo can help build context for your instructions.
  • Image generation – AI can auto-generate images to match your content.
  • Web search – pull fresh information straight into your forms.

The core stays the same: structured forms, zero small talk. Just more power when you need it.
